Today’s post is all about the best brow pens. Since I love testing all new beauty releases, I decided to take a few brow pens for a spin. So far, I have tested out 5 but my reviews below include my top 3 ones. There will certainly be many more in the future. If you are curious, keep reading!
A good brow pen is a wonderful product that allows you to draw super thin lines. It works perfectly for me and provides the three-dimensional brow look I’ve always dreamed of (my brows are sparse and almost invisible). Finally, my makeup looks the way I wanted it to, and daily brow styling takes just a moment.

Top 1. NANOBROW MICROBLADING PEN
The microblading-alike effect without leaving home? That’s what the Nanobrow brow pen delivers 🙂
This is undoubtedly a game-changer when it comes to brow styling and I can’t imagine my daily makeup without it anymore. I used to consider microblading as my natural brows are truly disappointing but this product convinced me I no longer need it. The waterproof formula stays on my brows all day, filling in gaps and sparse areas. It delivers an extremely desirable three-dimensional effect, it’s precise and draws ultra-thin lines.
It provides the bold yet natural effects I’ve been dreaming of. It’s a great makeup tool even for those who are not skilled. The wonderful thing is that it allows you to create impressive hair-like strokes. I’m glad the painful, invasive, and very risky procedure isn’t my only option. The intense pigmentation makes me confident all day long my eyebrows look great without the controlling glancing in the mirror. The Nanobrow brow pen is very long-wearing, so I’m not worried about my makeup getting damaged. In my case, the Light Brown shade was the right choice, but you can choose from four other shades I’m sure you’ll love. This is definitely my favorite brow pen and I think you should try it out too!
Top 2. MAC, SHAPE & SHADE BROW TINT
It’s a great brow pen, however, it comes at a higher price.
I chose the Fling shade, which is very nice and natural-looking. This multi-purpose brow tinting product gives your eyebrows wonderful volume. It fills in the gaps with a neutral shade that looks truly beautiful. The level of coverage is buildable, so you can create both subtle and bold makeup effects.
The Mac’s waterproof brow pen, Shape & Shade Brow Tint keeps the brows in place for hours. My makeup looks the way I wanted all day. It’s a moisture- and smudge-proof product. Interestingly, one side includes a liquid brow pen, and on the other end, there’s a sponge that allows you to shade your brow and create a phenomenal ombre look. This brow pen undoubtedly deserves attention, as it adds volume to the brows and, above all, is long-wearing. Although I really like the effects it delivers, the price is a bit of a deterrent. But overall, I think it is worth investing in it, as it will definitely stay with you for a long time.
Top 3. BENEFIT COSMETICS BROW MICROFILLING PEN
I’m surprised by the performance of the Benefit Cosmetics brow pen. It’s a well-known brand that I have always liked, however,
I didn’t expect such results. It’s just like microblading without the commitment 🙂 The eyebrow pen from BC provides a 24-hour micropigmentation effect without leaving home. It ensures you can get natural-looking, full brows. I was captivated by the 3-prong tip that camouflages any imperfections in one stroke.
It draws precise and thin lines for voluminous brows. I went for the beautiful neutral Light Brown shade which works for me perfectly. The waterproof and smudge-proof formula lasts all day in all weather conditions unscathed. You can’t go past this precision and easy application. I’m glad I came across this eyebrow pen as it delivers spectacular makeup effects.
