As I look back, I think that I’ve been wearing bangs since I was a child. However, you probably know that there are many bangs we can wear as there are numerous hairdos with bangs that either may suit us or make us look totally unattractive.
How to mark the perfect location for parting so as to make a hairdo look its best?
I’ve to admit that it had taken me long before I managed to match a hairdo to my face. Honestly, it was a big problem to me. I just couldn’t do the perfect parting on my head. I looked either like a grade-grubber with a straight parting placed right in the middle of my head, or completely the other way round, as a backcombed celebrity from the ’90s with my bangs being spiky on one side… 😉
Where to locate the parting? On the left, right or in the middle? Should I wear bangs anyway? This kind of questions are the frequent ones, especially when we are sitting on a hairdresser’s chair. The painful truth is that the place we wear our parting is crucial, it has to be marked out precisely if we want our look to be the most appealing.
The issue here is choosing the right method of marking out the parting and styling the hair so as to make the parting always stay in one place.
WHICH PARTING DOES SUIT ME BEST?
All girls who wear bangs asked themselves the question at least once in their life. It can’t be denied, matching the parting with a face shape and a hairdo is key. I don’t want to fool you and say that this task is easy, because it isn’t. Anyway, let me show you two ways of marking out the parting:
- Define the place where the parting forms itself naturally. All you have to do is just put your hair loose and check out how it styles itself. If the strands always separate in the same place, you can stick to the very marking. Anyway, it’s worth realizing that sometimes the ‘natural’ parting has created as the result of years of styling hair in a particular fashion. Therefore, in some cases it might appear not to be the perfect place to wear your parting.
- Do the parting so it is parallel to the highest point of one of your eyebrows. It turns out that this simple technique seems to be the perfect one for marking out a parting that might suits you best. This enables hair to set itself in the most beneficial way and reveal all assets of our face. Which side of the head should I do the paring on? It mainly depends on the profile we would like to expose. Therefore, if we consider our right face profile as more attractive, set the parting according to the highest point of your right eyebrow. This technique is simple and effective. Try it out!
