Hi! 🙂
Let’s focus on the eyebrows.
Have you ever tried an eyebrow pomade? If your eyebrows are very sparse, but you dream of a natural effect of thick arches, brow pomade is a product you simply must try. It allows you to easily fill in and camouflage gaps, add some hair-like strokes, and give your brows a thicker look. I have to admit that this is my favorite makeup method. Today I want to share how I do it and which products I use! 🙂
The Nanobrow brow pomade – better than classic brow pencils and powders?
In my opinion, this eyebrow pomade beats regular pencils and powders when it comes to pigmentation and wearability. It is more precise and allows you to create hair-like strokes to mimic real brow hairs, ensuring extremely natural makeup effects. Thanks to this technique, eyebrows gain extra volume and look fluffier. If you like the effect of precisely filled-in eyebrows, with this pomade you can camouflage all the gaps and add color to your eyebrows. The nourishing formula with natural Carnauba wax conditions your eyebrows under makeup, making them look moisturized and shiny. The eyebrow pomade from Nanobrow is available in different shades so you can easily match one to your hair color and beauty type: light brown, medium brown, and dark brown. With this eyebrow pomade, you can easily build up the coverage and intensity to create delicate and intense makeup.
Nanobrow Eyebrow Pomade – pros and cons
Pros:
✓ Formula: pleasant to the skin, velvety texture with the addition of vegetable wax, which additionally conditions eyebrows and ensures proper hydration of brow hairs.
✓ Wearability: it’s waterproof and lasts all day, without smudging or wearing off – even in hot weather!
✓ Pigmentation: there is a choice of natural-looking 3 shades with great pigmentation, which allows you to build up the coverage or create an “ombre effect”
✓ Easy application: the soft formula glides smoothly on the skin, does not create unsightly clumps, and does not smudge during application
✓ Precision: with this eyebrow pomade, you can perfectly fill in your eyebrows with color, cover up any gaps or failed semi-permanent makeup, create hair-like strokes, and precisely outline your arches
Cons:
– Packaging: I prefer regular round jars, however, it’s a matter of personal preference 🙂
How to define eyebrows with a brow pomade – my step-by-step tutorial
I want to add some extra volume to my eyebrows, so I start by brushing them slightly upward with a spoolie.
I reach for a flat brush with a slanted tip and pick up a bit of the pomade.
I don’t apply it directly on my eyebrows, but I place some of it on the top of my hand to remove excess product from the brush.
I define my bottom brow line – I fill in the inner brow edge very lightly so with almost invisible brush strokes.
I emphasize the middle part of my eyebrows and the tail a bit more strongly.
If your eyebrows are sparse, you should also define the top brow line.
Then I fill in my arches with color, drawing short lines in upward motions. This way you can easily give them a thicker look.
I usually do not apply any pomade on the inner edge of my eyebrows to avoid a too-heavy makeup effect.
Finally, I brush through my brows with a spoolie again to blend the color gently.
I also like to set my eyebrows with a transparent brow gel.
Done!
