It took me a long time to find the best mascara for myself. I tested loads of new releases from various beauty brands but somehow, they all turned out not to be suitable for me. So I decided to check out the products recommended by other women and see for myself if they really work. Which mascaras are my absolute TOP 5?
Why did I care about finding the perfect mascara for my lashes?
My natural eyelashes are quite thin and lack a defined curl. I didn’t want to worsen their condition any further by getting semi-permanent lash extensions. On the other hand, applying false eyelashes was also quite time-consuming and problematic. Looking at mascara ads, I decided that I wanted to find one that would work for me and help me achieve satisfactory results.

Before I start, I just want to point out that the products I have reviewed here have worked for me. This does not mean that they must work equally well for all of you. However, I want to share my observations and perhaps help you make the right decision!
1. Nanolash mascara

Let’s start with the winner of the ranking. In my opinion, it is the mascara from Nanolash, which allowed me to achieve the best results. This mascara comes in a competitive 10-milliliter size, and the product is equipped with a silicone brush. It is perfectly shaped, so operating it did not cause me any problems. It successfully coated even the shortest lashes.
The fact that two versions of this product are available is also a big advantage:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara– a thickening mascara;
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara.
All of you can choose a mascara that suits your individual needs from these two options.
The application of the mascara was extremely easy. One brush stroke was enough to define the lashes well. The lashes did not stick together, and the mascara lasted all day without any issues.
2. Lashcode Mascara

The next place on my list goes to the Lashcode product. This is a lengthening and thickening mascara, which also worked great for me. It is similar to the mascara from Nanolash as this mascara also has a silicone and well-shaped brush. What’s more, this mascara is easy to apply and I had no problem with it leaving any residue on my eyelid.
3. Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
In the next place, there’s the Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara. This is a truly decent product. It didn’t wear off after a full day, and it didn’t leave clumps on the lashes during the application. It also did not stick the lashes together. The problem for me, however, turned out to be the thicker brush with rather stiff bristles. Although it separated the lashes without any problems, handling it was a bit more difficult, especially trying to get to the lashes in the corners of the eyes. For this reason, I decided to put this product at a slightly lower position in the ranking.
4. Guerlain Cils D’enfer
Guerlain Cils D’enfer is a fairly renowned product. Nevertheless, I have noticed that it gets quite positive online reviews. It is a very long-lasting product. It lasted all day on my lashes, with no “panda eyes effect”. At the same time, I noticed that the consistency of this mascara is more watery, which may be due to the oils in the formula. This, in turn, made me more careful during my application. This mascara actually gave me longer lashes with a nice curl but I had to apply several coats of the product.
5. Dior Diorshow Mascara
The next place goes to Dior Diorshow Mascara. This is a product that stands out for its rather high price, which in my opinion is its biggest downside. However, when it comes to durability, there is nothing to complain about. The mascara from Dior lasted a whole day on my lashes with no flaking or smudging. The brush is quite thick, which bothered me a bit when applying the product on the lashes in the corners. I also noticed that when applying a second coat of mascara, the lashes got stuck together unsightly. Compared to the Nanolash mascara, I never had this problem.
Ranking summary
I presented the 5 most iconic products that were recommended by women online. I can’t say they didn’t work for me. However, there can be only one winner. For me, it is the mascara from Nanolash.
I searched for the perfect product for a long time and finally, thanks to the mascara from Nanolash, I can happily say that I found it. The product is lightweight, cares for the eyelashes, and applies easily, leaving no clumps.
Of course, I can’t say anything bad about the other products that made the ranking either. However, compared to the ranking leader, I noticed a few minor shortcomings, which I shared with you.
Remember that a properly selected mascara is the basis of spectacular makeup! So make a reasonable decision and you will certainly not regret it.
