When hair fall out…How to strengthen hair in the autumn?

When the sun hides in clouds, rain is pouring down more and more every day and the temperature reaches barely 20ºC, our body reacts to it in a certain way. Skin becomes dry, pigmentations are more prominent and hair fall out in extensive amounts. If you daily lose about a hundred hair, do not worry — it’s perfectly normal. Why does hair fall out?

Responsible for hair loss is improper hair care, hormones and weather. If you use the wrong cosmetic, wash your hair in the hot water or you do not know how to correctly comb your hair, then it will probably start to fall out in an extensive amount. Hair loss can be caused by the high level of testosterone and the low level of oestrogen. The level of both hormones changes depending on the season of the year. It is why in the winter you can observe increased hair loss, and in the summer — hair growth. The worsening of strands and scalp is also caused by the weather. Strong wind and low temperature are harmful to hair. If you want to avoid it, wear a cap or use strengthening and regenerating cosmetics.

How to reduce hair loss?

  • There are several ways that can help your hair stop falling out. First, change diet. Eat more products rich in unsaturated fatty acids (olive oil, olives, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds). Remember about fresh fish and fruits and vitamins; try the frozen food.
  • Second, trim your hair and limit hair dryer use. Trim few centimetres of hair; this way you will get rid of split ends and damaged strands. The gentlemen who are brave enough should cut their hair very short or entirely. The hair that will grow back will be stronger, denser and better looking. Your hair will also gain by quitting the hair dryer. High temperature causes dryness to strands and can trigger irritations to the scalp. If you cannot limit hair dryer use, then at least use thermo-protective cosmetics and turn on the cold air.
  • Third, moisturise and take care of the scalp. Before you wash the scalp, apply some oil or hair mask which will provide hydration, strengthening and regeneration. Leave product for about an hour, then rinse it down. Cosmetic with similar action can be used on the scalp. However, if you deal with dandruff or dryness of the scalp, avoid scalp massage, do not rinse it with hot water and do not use shampoo with intense cleansing action.
