A month in the life of my hair. Did it grow longer? Is it healthier?

How are you today?

Finally, the longed-for post about my hair. About a month ago, I started an intensive regenerating treatment that was aimed to restore my scalp’s beautiful look, and condition. Thanks to this post, you will discover cosmetics that I have used and want to recommend. Also, you will see how my hair looked a month ago and now.

REGENERATING COSMETICS

BingoSpa Hair Mask With Ghassoul Clay

It is a very good cosmetic for the hair and scalp. The product contains silicon, magnesium and calcium, which restore the scalp’s natural pH and thus positively affect the condition of the hair. I used it once a week, every time I washed my head, and probably that’s why it did not have any big effects. I bought it because of its clay content, which helps in skin treatment and hair purification.

Goldwell Dualsenses Hair Conditioner

The product is designed for dry and damaged hair care. Thanks to Goldwell Dualsenses Conditioner, my hair became smooth and shiny. Brushing it was not really a pleasure, there used to be many tangles and the brush couldn’t run through it smoothly. The cosmetic worked well on the outer structures of my hair. You can use the conditioner on a daily basis, I applied it every other day after shampooing. Goldwell Dualsenses Conditioner comes in a 200 ml bottle. I’m probably somewhere half way through the packaging.

Radical Hair Mist

Thanks to this product, I gained lots of new hair. I used it after every wash, to wet strands and scalp. Just spray all over and leave to air-dry. Radical Mist contains natural ingredients: horsetail, wheat protein, green tea and provitamin B5. It has a light formula that does not stick and does not burden the hair but moisturises and facilitates combing.

Pantene Split End Serum

Dry and split ends were also my nightmare. Fortunately, Pantene serum rebuilt it a bit. The strands are no longer as susceptible to damage as a month ago, they have become resistant to frequent brushing and harmful external factors. Pantene series tame, moisturise and condition the tips of the strands. Unfortunately, after four weeks of use, I do not see complete improvement. Another month of care is ahead of me.

Vichy Dercos Shampoo

I was looking for a shampoo, which at the same time would strengthen my strands and cleanse the scalp. This product contains B vitamins and a special anti-hair loss ingredient. It is recommended for both female and male hair. To make Vichy Dercos shampoo work better, leave it on your head for a few minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. In my opinion, this is one of the better cosmetics I have used so far.

WHAT MY ENTIRE HAIR TREATMENT LOOKED LIKE?

Castor oil and a scalp massager

In addition to the cosmetics I described above, I also used Castor oil. As you know, the preparation stimulates hair growth and inhibits its loss. I rubbed heated Castor oil into the scalp and then I did a massage. The treatment was supposed to speed up blood circulation, improve the absorption of oils and stimulate hair growth. The same task was to fulfil the head massage device. The gadget resembles an egg whisk. Its tips are equipped with small balls. Effect? I was extremely relaxed. Such a massage is also great for headaches.

How I applied the cosmetics?

Every other day, I used Vichy Dercos Shampoo to wash my hair and scalp. Next, I applied the conditioner and rinsed after several minutes and then sprayed the mist to the scalp. Once my hair was completely dry – I applied a regenerating serum to the split ends. Every week, after shampooing, I applied a generous amount of a hair mask which I washed off with a shampoo after several minutes. Then, again the mist and the serum. Of course, the cosmetics on their own would not work if I haven’t given up on colour-treating and blow-drying. Ammonia and high temperature weakened and dehydrated my hair to an extent that they disturbed the functioning of sebaceous glands. Fortunately, after a one-month treatment, may hair looks a lot better.

If you also struggle with similar problems, try the cosmetics I described in the post. Of course, I do not guarantee spectacular results – we all have completely different hair type which requires different cosmetics. But do not give up but keep on trying new things. Good luck!
